June 29, 2014 - The birth of the Twice As Strong Hockey Program was the results of the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombings and two brothers injured that tragic day with one option be strong; as they work together, they were twice as strong.
On Saturday May 31, 2014, Twice As Strong Hockey took to the ice for the very first time. Captured their first championship and have never looked back. At the completion of the 2015 season, minor changes were made to the team logo. The Twice As Strong Hockey script and fifteen stars representing April 15th was added and hence became known as team Strong!

2014 VHL Champions - Twice As Strong Hockey
In the semifinals, Jonah Hadley scored four goals and set up another, Paul O’Callaghan had 1-1-2, Bryan Jackson had two assists and Matt Brown pitched a shutout as Twice As Strong topped NH East, 7-0.
In the final, Jackson, who also had an assist, wore a natural hat down the stretch to lift Twice As Strong to a 6-4 triumph over Elm Street – Steve Faia with 2-1-3 and Hadley three assists in the win.
