TWICE AS STRONG PLAYER DEVELOPMENT TE

 Our Story

In the wake of the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombings and the tragic injuries suffered by two brothers that day, the Twice As Strong Hockey Program was born. Despite both losing a leg, these two brothers from a small town outside of Boston, Massachusetts, never lost their positive attitude.

Two brothers who chose never to look back, and together they were twice as strong. On Saturday May 31, 2014, Twice As Strong Hockey won their first championship that season and have never looked back.; making no apologies for setting high standards.

Following the conclusion of the 2015 season, minor changes were made to the team logo. To commemorate April 15, 2013 and these brothers, the text Twice As Strong Hockey was incorporated with fifteen stars. Hence, the team became known as the Strong!

As part of its 10-week spring hockey camp, Twice As Strong provides High School, Bantam, and Pee-Wee hockey players with the opportunity to practice, compete, and develop their skills with other players from different communities in the state. In the TAS Hockey Program, you will discover your Inner Champion as you Explore, Dream, and Discover the Champion In You. Twice As Strong Hockey is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment for our campers.

“It’s touching knowing that I may inspire someone else’s life,” Paul says. “A big moment for me was when a little girl—who had a hard life—asked for a picture with me in a local restaurant saying I inspired her to be strong. That’s something I will never forget.”
