00:00 / 01:10

"I just want to thank Mike and the entire coaching staff for the last 4 years of letting domenic be apart of your program as well as another great spring . Thank You .!!!"

-Steve Mustone

"First year my son played on TAS. He has enjoyed playing, team and coaches encoring. Everyone plays on a rotation, no sitting on the bench. Look forward to another season with TAS Hockey."

-Joan Kelly

"I found this program via a parent’s suggestion as my son James Sophomore High School season was cancelled due to Covid. The coaching is great and atmosphere is 100 percent positive. Playing for this program is more than just hockey it represents perseverance respect and teamwork. Mikes nephews unfortunately both lost a leg during the Marathon bombings and this program is to honor them. My son James absolutely connected with the philosophy of this program and will most definitely finish his Senior year spring hockey with Twice As Strong!"

-John DeMarco

"My U16 goalie daughter was looking for a boys team to play with and TAS welcomed her to try out and play with for the spring season '23. She had a great time and was looking forward to every practice and game. Team and coaches were welcoming and she got equal game time just as all players do. She also liked the off ice workouts at Hinge Fitness in Melrose that were included. She is looking forward to playing again next year!"

-Denise Steiner

"Twice as Strong is an amazing spring team like no other. My son just graduated and finished his final year with TAS. He played all through middle and high school. He looked forward to spring hockey every year. The coaching staff is top notch, this team is extremely organized and it’s all about teaching and training the kids! My son has learned a lot and made great friends. I honestly can’t say enough about it!"

-Kristine K

"My freshman just finished his first season of spring hockey at TAS and had a great time! I had reservations about spring hockey and the level of competition it could provide. TAS spring hockey was challenging and competitive. The coaches and players carried themselves with a level of professionalism that is second to none. We are proud to be a part of TAS, and we will definitely be back again next year!"

-Jeff Kendall

"My son Jake had a fantastic experience with Twice as Strong Hockey! The practices and training sessions were intense and fun. The coaching staff did a great job bringing the boys together. My kid could not wait to get to the rink! He loved all the coaches and players. Can’t wait until next year."

-Jack Meeker

"Twice As Strong is a great spring program. This program offers a competitive skating and skilled coaching. My son has enjoyed playing on this team for the past four years."

-Sherrie Ingalls

"Twice as strong is a class-act organization. The organizers, coaches, parents and players are all committed and dedicated making the season competitive and enjoyable for all. The competition is good and the coaches are knowledgeable and experienced. The message is to play competitively and hard but also with integrity and sportsmanship. I would recommend this organization to any parent and skater looking for both a quality and fun team. I hope my son gets the opportunity to play for them again!"

-April Gaskin

"My son started playing hockey 10 years ago when he was 6 and has played on spring league teams the past 5 years. This is his first season with Twice as Strong Hockey and he absolutely loves the team and especially the coaches. I am also very impressed with the professionalism from top to bottom and the warmth my son was greeted with by players and coaches that have been with the program in past years. I would highly recommend Twice as Strong to anyone looking for a spring team to play on in the future."

-Steven Capezzuto

-John Christopher

"Come next Spring, if you, as a parent, are looking to solidify your daughter or son’s hockey experience, look no further than Twice As Strong (TAS). Not connected to any particular program, school or having a special agenda, Mike and the TAS Coaches deliver an experience that is missing with most club and town teams. Besides sharpening your child’s skating and stick skills, sportsmanship, respect and principle are integral to that TAS Experience!"

-Jimmy Madeja

"TAS is a solid program focused on building core hockey skills, both physical and mental. Skating, passing, shooting, of course, but also the bigger picture of what is happening all over the ice so that players make better decisions. Two thumbs up!"

-Kerry Beausoleil

"The boys all had such a great time with TAS this summer, grateful to have had the opportunity to see some ice during the pandemic. Thank you for using all the protocols recommended by the state so these kids could get back on the ice!"

-Jennifer Caley

"Twice As Strong Hockey is an excellent hockey program! My son has participated in this program for a few years now, and my daughter decided to join for the first time this year. Although there were no games this season due to the Covid restrictions, it was so valuable to have quality coaching and the chance to work on their skills in shooting, stick handling and skating as well as get some socialization. The co-ed aspect was great, and all the players were really supportive of each other. I would highly recommend TAS, and look forward to another season with them again next year!"

-Tami White

"This program was great for my son's skills, team building and socialization. I highly recommend all that are part of this organization."

-Mark Lawhorne

"Such an awesome program, well managed and coached with unusual civility mixed with seriously strong expectations of each player trying their best and working as a team. Love this program."

-Jamy Buchanan Madeja

-MaryBeth Dirocco-Tufts

"Twice As Strong Hockey provides a good balance of practice, training, team building and games. It has experienced and dedicated coaching staff who can help your children extend their hockey experiences through the spring. If you are looking for spring hockey, look no further. Twice As Strong is the spring hockey at its best!"

-Yuan Cheng

"This season was a great learning experience for my son both on and off the ice. Great program run by very professional and experienced staff. Thank you so much for helping him grow twice as strong!"

-Kimberli Lynch-Bowler

"You can't find a better spring hockey program. The weekly practices on full ice too!) allow the players to get to know each other and better work together as a team.  Having an experienced high school level coach run the same kinds of practices/drills he runs for his high school teams will prepare our Bantam players for the high school level.  (Wish our Pee Wee player could've had the same experience). Winning the Valley League Spring League championship was icing on the cake! We can't wait for next Spring!"

-Vicky and Joe Halter

"Twice as Strong was a fantastic experience for my son - the overall program, the coaches and the team. The level of instruction and encouragement helped him focus on skills where he needed improvement while still building on his strengths.
It was amazing to see the group of boys come together and play as a team of equals , regardless of experience or skill level.
That's the philosophy taught in this program..."

-Debbie Chavis

“We have two boys that have played a combined three seasons of Twice as Strong spring hockey. The program is always very well organized and managed. The coaching and team building have exceeded our expectations.  Respect for the game – your teammates, coaches and the opposition, strong work ethic, improvement of skills and hockey IQ are core to the program.  After each Twice as Strong season our boys have been better prepared to make a strong positive impact on their full time teams.”

-Eric and Lisa  Viliott
